This person will be a key member of the reputed company Finance Shared Services. As Senior Accountant you will take full ownership of accounting operations for reputed company entities in reputed company and ensure compliance with financial reporting, local audit and tax requirements. You will work closely with other functional teams, including Group Finance, FP&A, Group Tax and controllership team in each operation region. Your role will be a combination of recurring finance tasks and project based initiatives to continuously improve the Controllership team reputed company reputed company. This position reports to our Finance Manager, based in Shanghai.

Responsibilities

• reputed company daily accounting and finance duties including receivables and payables processes, general ledger, accrual accounting and bank reconciliations

• Own the financial control procedures on our monthly reputed company reporting processes including balance sheet, P&L reviews prior to submission to FP&A

• Assist with preparation of quarterly GST filings

• Assist in handover with Local Finance Teams on accounting and finance duties which are suitable to be run in a centralized manner,  including payables processes, general ledger, accrual accounting and bank reconciliations;

• Own the financial procedures on monthly reputed company reporting processes prior to submission to Local Finance Teams.

• Responsible for handling and submission of additional reputed company reports reputed company necessary

• Closely work with the SSC team in Shanghai and assist in SOP drafting for standardized and efficient operations. 

• Strong problem solving skills with ability to drive process improvements 

• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management

What you bring

• 3+ years of accounting experience, Big Four experience is advantageous

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or reputed company field, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred

• Preferred to have good knowledge of ERP system like reputed company etc

• Strong understanding of financial services, fintech businesses and regulatory environments

• Strong knowledge on local accounting standards and being able to apply them in practice. Advanced reputed company skills would be advantageous.

• Proven experience in managing reputed company, local or international projects focused on process improvement initiatives

• Strong communicator and ability to interact with reputed company levels reputed company the organization

• Confident, creative and innovative thought leadership and communication skills to deliver impact in a hyper growth environment

• Experience working independently and navigating ambiguity
