As a Medical Access Pharmacy Technician, you will focus on assisting patients with charts and medication adherence/maintenance. You will collaborate with fellow Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians to address patient concerns and issues regarding noncompliance. Responsible for outreaching patients who are falling behind on filling their medications in a timely manner each month. Provides multi-disciplinary support to pharmacists and other staff to promote effective medication management. Identifies patients who have challenges taking their medications and help connect them to resources such as adherence counseling or patient assistance program enrollment. Reviews drug benefit information for patients to promote smooth medication procurement process. Screens and enrolls identified patients into patient assistance programs. A caregiver in this position works remotely from 7:00AM – 3:00PM.
