Key Responsibilities
- Hyperion Application Stewardship: Maintain and monitor the Hyperion planning application to ensure accurate and timely financial data across the organization.
- Data Validation & Reconciliation: Review and approve data feeds from Hyperion Financial Management and external reporting systems, resolving discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
- Issue Investigation: Diagnose and resolve data anomalies, including intercompany eliminations, segment roll‑ups, and consolidation errors.
- System Maintenance & Enhancements: Perform routine system upkeep, apply patches, and manage configuration changes in line with business requirements and compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide expert assistance to business users on reporting, modeling, and system functionality, delivering practical solutions that drive efficiency.
- Month‑End Close Activities: Lead the month‑end headcount process within Hyperion, coordinate data loads, and ensure alignment with General Ledger (GL) and regulatory teams.
- Business Requirements Gathering: Partner with cross‑functional teams to capture emerging business needs, translate them into technical specifications, and present viable solutions.
- Essbase Development: Design and build robust Essbase cubes, planning applications, reports, and forecasting models tailored to the finance organization’s evolving demands.
- Ad‑hoc Analysis & Reporting: Conduct deep‑dive financial analyses, support strategic initiatives, and produce insightful reports for senior leadership.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance role, with demonstrated exposure to financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Solid technical foundation, including hands‑on experience with Hyperion, Essbase, and multi‑dimensional data models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong data manipulation skills.
