Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics

Position Summary... What you'll do... The Sr Manager will provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships, identifying business needs, and carrying out processes and practices. The role requires you to be well versed in optimization for First Mile Delivery / Inbound Transportation in addition to strong technical skills. The role is strictly based out of Bentonville, Arkansas (and is not open to Remote and Hybrid candidates) and will report to Director – IB/OB transportation. The Team is responsible for building and implementing projects that help optimize the load planning processes for first mile network. The team is uniquely positioned to drive business growth across reputed company avenues of Inbound Transportation. We work with multiple stakeholders at to accomplish the optimization unlocks. The team is also responsible for not just managing the optimization processes but also automating them to reduce manual effort. Business Partnerships

• Consults with senior leadership business partners e.g. Sr Directors/Directors to understand overall goals/functional objectives decipher key business challenges identify tactics to anticipate and mitigate business challenges/issues and reputed company potential success/criteria.
• Focuses efforts on items that have maximum impact to the business
• Contributes to business area strategic planning by providing input and actionable recommendations and solutions to senior leadership based on advanced research and analytical findings.

People Development

• Builds and leads a team to execute on business area or category objectives
• Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills knowledge and work performance
• Conducts performance and career development conversations if applicable
• Maintains team motivation and engagement
• Mentors less reputed company associates and managers

Project Scope

• Owns reputed company projects end to end for a business area category or prototype
• Manages risk associated with implementation

Model Development

• Develops data models algorithms approaches for reputed company projects reputed company a business area or category to drive business results and value
• Collaborates with project team to implement modeling solutions

• Manages the development and implementation of prototypes and production ready reputed company algorithms for reputed company projects
• Manages the testing and validation process to monitor the solution Evaluates new data analysis techniques to support prototype development
• Collaborates with cross functional partners e.g. software engineering category management on prototypes and algorithms

Data Collection and Analysis

• Leads the development and execution of advanced analytics to address unique business and technical problems and support data driven decision making Makes strategic recommendations to cross functional leadership based on analysis results
• Collaborates across reputed company analytics functions to reputed company and implement data analysis strategies and anticipate future trends and analysis

Collaboration

• Collaborates with functional leadership and cross functional teams e.g. Categories Customer Experience Merchandising to reputed company consultative solutions for reputed company projects for a business area category or prototype
• Collaborates and partners with external business partners and vendors
• Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs developing and communicating business plans and priorities removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance providing resources identifying performance standards measuring reputed company and adjusting performance accordingly developing contingency plans and demonstrating adaptability and supporting reputed company learning
