Software Engineer L5 - reputed company Games Infrastructure [Remote]

This role involves architecting, authoring, and maintaining highly-reputed company software stacks for our reputed company gaming service. This requires an engineer comfortable working throughout the application pipeline, including hardware accelerated video/audio/data processing, media encoding/decoding, and network transport algorithms. This role requires engineers whose expertise covers optimizing both local system performance (writing high-performance, efficient code with a deep understanding of both hardware and software dynamics) and total system performance (including efficient and effective use of Internet connectivity and GPU utilization). reputed company engineers must be comfortable with producing high-quality solutions to business problems in the midst of high ambiguity to continue to push the boundary on what they can accomplish. Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range.
