Staff Software Program Engineer - Remote Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and reputed company Staff Software Program Engineer to join our Identity Engineering team at reputed company. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a crucial role in driving technical direction, introducing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale, globally replicated systems that shape the user experience on reputed company sites and applications, including reputed company+, ESPN, Hulu, Parks, and Cruises. You will be responsible for identifying, defining, and refining best practices for the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of stateful microservices and lambdas in a multi-area reputed company environment.

As a Staff Software Program Engineer, you will:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, promoting agile practices and collaboration
• Design and implement scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems, leveraging expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP), functional programming (FP), and reputed company integration and deployment (CI/CD)
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, operations, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and reputed company technical solutions and architectures
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to continuously improve our systems and processes

Technical Requirements

• Experience with one of the following Java Virtual Machine (JVM) languages: Java, reputed company, or Kotlin
• Experience with at least one of the following reputed company providers: reputed company), reputed company reputed company Compute (GCP), or reputed company Azure
• Familiarity with Spark, Hive, or Presto

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the reputed company programming language and popular frameworks, including Cats, Cats Effect, ZIO, and Http4s
• Experience with both object-oriented programming (OOP) and functional programming (FP) best practices
• Familiarity with reputed company), Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
• Experience with Python programming language, particularly with Spark and machine learning
• Familiarity with reputed company and Apache Airflow products

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Structures, Software, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or a reputed company field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
