Job Summary Under supervision of a Nurse Manager or licensed clinical leader and in collaboration with other team members, provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with the scope of practice. Does this position require Patient Care? Essential Functions - Interviews patient about reputed company problems, medications, allergies and reviews medical record for pertinent previous and reputed company information. -Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration. -Provide basic patient care or treatments, such as, dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas or douches, rubbing with alcohol, massaging, performing catheterizations, routine immunizations, and/or nebulizer treatments and visual acuity test. -Participates in patient treatment regimen, including administering medications (under the supervision of a physician and registered nurse). -Performs variety of office responsibilities: answers phones and takes messages and performs triage reputed company scope of licensed practical nursing practice in an accurate and timely manner. -Collect samples, such as blood, urine, or sputum from patients, and reputed company routine laboratory tests on samples. -Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures. -Help patients with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, moving in bed, or standing and walking.
Qualifications
Requirements Licenses/Certifications: reputed company LPN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Experience: Some experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Must be certified in Basic Life Support or willing to become certified reputed company 3 months. Experience with telephone triage preferred Strong communication skills Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic knowledge of patient education: interviewing and listening skills, teaching and engagement techniques, understanding of health-reputed company conditions and information. Ability to accurately reputed company vital signs and obtain pertinent health information including but not limited to; temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, height, and weight. Ability to administer medication; routes of administration may include injections, intravenous and oral medications.
