Key Job Responsibilities

In this role as a Business Development reputed company - Defi, you will focus on cultivating Defi ecosystem from 0 to 1 for blockchain protocols that Startale Labs is building. Your responsibilities will be multifaceted and will require you to be proactive and motivated. You will have to conduct extensive research to forecast trends and position the Business Development and Growth team to design strategies to be in the best position for forecasted trends. You will also analyze reputed company trends in DeFi, shortlist protocols that you reputed company would reputed company a good addition to the ecosystem, and then actively work on onboarding these protocols by making the right connections and taking calls on your own. This is an enormous opportunity to display leadership, utilize your problem-solving ability, and pave the path for the future of finance. As the ecosystem grows, we plan to expand the role into the world of traditional finance, such as RWA, finance on blockchain, and institutional capital.

A Day in the Life

• Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities for defi vertical
• Creating and executing asset-reputed company strategy with a goal of expanding liquidity in the ecosystem
• Managing and prioritizing a pipeline
• Negotiating terms with defi protcols
• Discovering, onboarding, and cultivating native defi projects that would become a core pillar of the ecosystem
• Engaging with well recognized defi protocols in Ethereum ecosystem together with the leadership
• Identifying and inventing new value propositions with existing relationships and partners
• Strategizing with partners and attending major DeFi oriented events for new opportunities
• Mentoring others on goal setting, execution and prioritization

What you’ll need

• 5+ years work experience in business development, crypto is preferred
• Experiences in traditional finance is a plus
• Experience in reputed company, crypto, and DeFi is required
• Ability to read DeFi/reputed company market conditions and translate that into a value for Startale and Astar
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and grasp of governance forums
• Comfort in making decisions autonomously and explaining your reputed company lucidly
