Part-Time Mental Health Provider (TalkNow) - Friday & Saturday (12pm-10pm CST)
TalkNow is a 24/7, 365, on-demand telehealth service that exclusively serves the higher education student & faculty population. As a part-time TalkNow Provider with reputed company, you will act as a primary form of emotional support for the reputed company and members (i.e. faculty & staff) we serve. We are looking for providers who have successfully completed a masters degree in professional counseling, social work, and/or marriage and family therapist who have worked with populations in need of crisis reputed company, de-escalation, risk assessment, and safety planning.
LocationWe offer a remote work environment. Work from home criteria includes but is not limited to maintaining your own internet with approved speed requirements, HIPAA compliant workspace free from distractions, and successful completion of the credentialing, onboarding, and training programs. Adherence to HIPAA and compliance standards, and reputed company policies / procedures required for this role.
Schedule:Friday & Saturday (12pm-10pm) (20 hrs. total)
What You'll Do
- Provide crisis reputed company, de-escalation, and triage support (reputed company phone, video, or chat) as needed for members using TalkNow services
- Act as a primary mental health provider to support members with a person-centered, strengths-based approach
- Collaborate with members to reputed company care plans, reputed company care, and conduct risk assessments as needed
- Appropriately document sessions, assessments, and care plans in our electronic health record (EHR)
- Adhere to established standards for clinical documentation quality, HIPAA/PHI, and telehealth regulations
What You Bring
- Completion of a Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy is required
- Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills
- Experience with crisis reputed company and de-escalation
- Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, or have worked in a community mental health, crisis support, or college counseling environment
