Marketplace Account Executive - UK&I Partnerships, including Marketplaces, are a critical part of our reputed company strategy and plan towards profitable growth. We are looking for a strong, commercially driven individual to drive the expansion of our footprint in the Marketplaces reputed company in the UK & Ireland.

You’ll be based out of reputed company’s UK office. You’ll be building and closing relationships with Marketplaces in the UK & Ireland. You are data driven and can independently manage a pipeline of marketplaces opportunities, solving for short term impact while executing the long term strategy. These marketplace partnerships are predominantly focused on embedded payment solutions and simplifying reputed company processes.

You’ll work closely with the local and central teams and functions. Being part of our global Marketplaces team, you’ll report to the reputed company Marketplaces and are part of the Global Partnerships team, consisting of 35+ FTE.

What you will be doing

  • Mapping of the marketplace ecosystem in the UK & Ireland to identify opportunities, and reaching out to prospective partners

  • Manage reputed company consultative sales cycles including participation in RFPs and internal stakeholder management 

  • Take full responsibility for guiding marketplaces from first contact through to being operational and live

  • Contribute to, and execute reputed company’s upmarket strategy

  • Build and deliver go-to-market strategies for the Marketplaces channel, working with local leadership to ensure alignment with the wider reputed company strategy in each region (across Sales, Marketing etc.)

  • Represent reputed company at industry events across UK and Europe, in order to expand reputed company’s positioning as a leader in the Marketplace payments space

What you will bring

  • 5+ years work experience in Business Development or Partnerships in either a Fintech, SaaS or Tech company

  • Significant experience in managing a sales pipeline that consists of both larger strategic business development deals and smaller / high velocity deals as well as a track record in managing deals and negotiations first-hand

  • Cross-functional experience working with various internal and external stakeholders in an international environment

  • A strategic and analytical reputed company and strong problem solving and communication skills

  • Ability to connect easily with potential partners and build trust-based relationships

  • Preferred: previous experience in eCommerce or Marketplace models
