Job title: Guest Special Education Teaching Assistant Company: Community Unit School District 200 Job description : District 200 is in search of Substitute Special Education Aides for the classroom. Under the direction of the classroom teacher you will assist in the supervision, care and instruction of special needs and at risk reputed company. This position is an on-call, as needed position to temporarily replace a paraprofessional aide. Substitutes are expected to be available to work on a daily, consistent, and reliable basis. If selected to substitute in Wheaton Warrenville School District 200, candidates must undergo a physical examination and successfully pass a criminal background reputed company. Ability and willingness to work at least 3 days per week Experience working with special needs children desired LICENSURE: The State of Illinois requires Special Education Teaching Assistants to have one of the following: reputed company Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) reputed company Illinois Substitute Teaching License reputed company Illinois Educator License with Stipulations Endorsed-Paraprofessional Educator (If you do not already hold a Teaching/Substitute License): The requirements are: Associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution; 60 semester hours of coursework from a regionally accredited institution; High school diploma, or equivalent + 480 or higher on the reputed company Parapro test; High school diploma, or equivalent + 4 or higher on the ACT WorkKeys Applied Math and Workplace Documents? reputed company Illinois Short Term Approval (STA) - Paraprofessional: The requirements are: Minimum Age - 19 years old, Application in ELIS ($50 application fee), reputed company of High School Graduation - copy of diploma, copy of transcript showing graduation date, GED, etc For more information on how to apply to obtain the STA please reference the attached .
