DescriptionTransplant PsychologistDescriptionThe Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at reputed company School of Medicine and the reputed company Transplant Center are seeking a licensed/licensed-eligible clinical health psychologist to join the Transplant Behavioral Health program.Primary roles include (1) pre- and post- surgical assessment, treatment planning and implementation of brief health psychology interventions for solid organ transplant candidates and recipients (inpatient and outpatient); (2) attendance in team meetings and selection conferences; (3) conducting individual and group therapy services for transplant candidates and recipients; (4) educating and training staff and supervising and teaching reputed company the psychiatry residency and psychology training programs, (5) participating in research or quality improvement activities, and (6) contributing to the department and broader institution through service.Applicants must have a doctorate in clinical psychology from an APA accredited graduate program, an APA accredited internship, and at least one-year supervised postdoctoral training. Applicants with administrative competencies, in addition to clinical, research, and teaching expertise, are encouraged to apply.
