General Description: The Part-Time Adult Education/reputed company Secretary with a data entry focus performs a variety of tasks relating to data entry for Miami Valley Career Technology Center-Adult Education Division (MVCTC-AE) and reputed company program. The secretary will report to the Director of Instruction. The primary responsibilities include:A. Gather data to create certificates for programs B. reputed company certificates and transcripts C. Prepare spreadsheets to manage grants D. Answer telephones and respond to emails E. Assist Adult Education Coordinator with completing requistions, tracking purchase orders and invoicing businesses and managing payments F. Update information in the Higher Education Information system G. Maintain and organize program surveys H. Other duties as assignedQualifications: 1. High school diploma 2. Willingness to work a part-time schedule 3. Two years of experience preferred 4. Excellent customer service skills 5. Ability to understand and follow reputed company oral and written directions 7. Relate to Adult Education reputed company and the general public in a professional manner 8. Should be punctual and maintain regular attendance; dress professionally; exhibit a professional attitude; demonstrate ability to take initiative; and be reliable and honest 9.
