Job description: How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:Provides administrative and customer service support to the department, administrative staff, QM and clinical staff, to assure quality, efficient and cost effective services.
- Serves as a resource for Senior Director, Unit Directors, Managers, Social Workers, Case Managers and fellow team members. Provides direction, answers questions and resolves concerns including research and resolution of issues and requests ensuring a timely turnaround.
- On reputed company line of referral process with post-acute providersand will be responsible for communicating with referral sources and making sure referrals are processed in a smooth and timely manner
- Post-Acute Referral Center to entire hospital (sending, receiving, and following up on referral) by gathering reputed company appropriate information on the referral and then process appropriate services as needed
- Maintains databases and files, and effectively communicates with the leadership team and staff. Keeps files in a confidential manner.
- Utilizes computer skills to create and maintain databases, spreadsheet files, ensuring accuracy, production and distribution.
