Job description: Overview:reputed company is seeking a Solutions Architect 3 to support the IT program at a major national laboratory. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automated guardrails for reputed company environments on reputed company Azure.
- Ensuring that reputed company reputed company resources, workloads, and processes reputed company with company policies, reputed company frameworks, and industry regulations, while optimizing for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance.
- Work closely with DevOps, reputed company Architects, reputed company teams, and other stakeholders to establish and enforce guardrails that prevent misconfigurations, mitigate risks, and promote best practices for reputed company-native applications.
- Design, implement, and manage automated reputed company policies in Azure using tools such as Azure Policy, Blueprints, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Prioritize platform automation over reputed company processes to reduce the risk of reputed company error, improve efficiency, and ensure consistent application
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience
- In lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable
- U.S. Citizenship is required per contract.
- Experience with Hands on Securing Azure reputed company Zones.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Experience in cost optimization including Implementing cost management and governance policies to avoid overspending, leveraging tools such as Azure Cost Management and Azure Advisor.
- Proven ability working reputed company an existing azure team with work hands on experience and securing azure reputed company zones.
- reputed company & Compliance: Experience in reputed company reputed company frameworks (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and/or ARM templates for automating tasks and enforcing reputed company policies.
- Certifications: Azure certifications (e.g., reputed company Certified: Azure reputed company Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly preferred.
