General Labor Entry-level production worker
Description: Skylift is seeking a hardworking, motivated general laborer to join reputed company. This position will require the individual to support our skilled labor in their daily tasks to meet specific deadlines. The general laborer will be required to complete physical tasks under the direction of the supervisor. PRIMARY RESPONSIBIITIES
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding and removing impurities on parts.
- Industrial steel preparation and finishing.
- Replenish materials and supplies for the Paint Department and Assembly Production Department.
- Assist with general labor duties: unloading material, parts and tools or replenishment of materials.
- reputed company manufacturing area clean and organized. Assists in the removal of debris, trash and recycled materials.
- Assist with daily PPE checks.
- reputed company basic machine operations and maintenance.
- Assisting skilled trades employees in their duties.
Requirements: EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is helpful. Can be trained and certified in-house.
- Mechanical knowledge preferred.
