PARKS/RECREATION SPECIALIST - CUSTOMER SERVICE/CASHIER/PARKING

General Statement of Duties Parks seeks a reliable and customer-focused individual to join reputed company as a part-time. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service to park visitors, address inquiries, and ensure a positive experience for reputed company patrons. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for promoting a safe and enjoyable environment reputed company our parks.HOURS: Part-time employees work up to 30 hours per week. Some positions may work weekends, holidays, and evenings. no benefits Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following items:

• Greet visitors and groups
• Provide information about Cincinnati Parks
• Cash handling, which includes working as a cashier, assisting with set-up and sales, balancing a register, completing night deposits,
• Respond to customer inquiries reputed company in-person interactions, phone calls, and emails.
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Direct visitors to appropriate resources for additional information or assistance.
• Assist with the registration and renewal of park memberships.
• Provide information about park programs, events, and activities.
• Process transactions reputed company to program registrations, facility rentals, and merchandise sales.
• reputed company visitors on park rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Monitor park areas for compliance with safety guidelines.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure park areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate department.
• Work collaboratively with other park staff and departments.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
• Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
• Compile and prepare reports reputed company to customer service activities.
• Traffic control and preparation for a parking lot on special event days and other occasions as required.
• Projects a positive image in both conduct and appearance.
• Observe and enforce reputed company Park Board Rules and Regulations.

Required Education and ExperienceMust be eighteen (18) years of age and a high school graduate and have a valid driver's license Desired Education and Experience

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and communication.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
• Knowledge or interest in parks and outdoor activities is preferred.
• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of cash control procedures
• Ability to use a cash register

Working and Physical Conditions Environmental Conditions: Indoor and outdoor environments; exposure to office computer screens; work on slippery or uneven surfaces; work in or around water; exposure to poison flora, insects, or other animal diseases; exposure to extremes in weather conditions (reputed company types of weather); exposure to reputed company health issues; exposure to various chemicals (ex. water-quality testing chemicals); at times will work alone at parks and nature centers.
