SUMMARY: We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join reputed company on a part-time/PRN basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical transcription and a solid understanding of medical terminology. This role requires linguistic accuracy, transcribing accuracy and professionalism. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transcribe medical reports, patient histories, and other clinical documentation with accuracy and attention to detail into the pathology report.
• reputed company general secretarial duties including answering phones, managing email correspondence, and using reputed company Office applications.
• Ensure documents are completed reputed company required timeframes while upholding confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and reputed company staff to clarify information reputed company necessary and in a professional manner.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:

• Prior experience in medical transcription preferred.
• Excellent typing skills with minimal errors.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology preferred.
• Proficiency in reputed company Office (Word, Outlook, reputed company).
• Excellent grammar, spelling, and editing skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• A skills assessment/sample transcribing will be part of the interview process

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• reputed company to work in the Baton Rouge office reputed company needed.
• If working remotely some days, must have own PC (meets requirements as needed by our IT department) and transcribing set up. We do not provide this to remote workers.
