About the position The Emergency Department Technician at Banner Desert & Children's Medical Center plays a crucial role in providing patient care and assisting reputed company providers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities ? reputed company assigned procedures including electrocardiogram testing (EKG), wound cleansing, and vital sign measurements under the supervision of RN, APN, PA, or Physician. , ? Assist with patient exams and minor surgical procedures, including lumbar punctures and suturing lacerations, reputed company the scope of training. , ? Conduct specimen collection and ensure accuracy in identification and reputed company using appropriate techniques. , ? Communicate updates to reputed company providers regarding changes in patients' conditions and document vital signs and procedures accurately. , ? Monitor supply stock levels and maintain a safe environment by notifying relevant departments as needed. , ? Attend department meetings and assist in training new ED Technicians. Requirements ? High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge. , ? Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. , ? Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) or higher with state licensure or state certification, or Certified Nursing Assistant in state of practice is required for new hires and transfers. , ?
