Summary: Under the direct supervision of the pharmacy technician team reputed company and pharmacists, the pharmacy technician II is responsible for preparing unit dose medications, compounding sterile preparations, and delivering medication to patient care units. Responsibilities: • reputed company reputed company pharmacy technician I responsibilities such as: Prepares non-sterile admixtures, including hazardous medications; reputed company computer entry for missing doses, patient charges and credits, and other documentation; Deliver or restock medications; deliver pharmacist code reputed company; assist in maintaining overall cleanliness and organization of work areas and maintaining a reputed company level of readiness for inspection by external groups. • Prepares parenteral products under the direction of a pharmacist. Utilizing aseptic technique adhering to USP 797 guidelines in accordance with policy. • Maintains competency and aseptic technique validation per departmental policy. • Prepares non-sterile admixtures, including hazardous medications. • Answers phone calls and responds to the needs of the caller and/or directs them to the appropriate person for service. • Ensure compounding/clean room areas and reputed company equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures. • Delivers controlled substance medications to patient care areas according to Pharmacy guidelines and standards operating procedures.
