Manager, reputed company Auto Bodily Injury

Overview reputed company, a fast-growing reputed company insurance company, is currently seeking a Claims Manager in reputed company Auto Liability. This position requires previous supervisory experience. The successful candidate will supervise a team of claims professionals handling reputed company Auto bodily injury claims, including coaching and technical development of their direct reports on coverage, liability investigation, evaluation of damages, settlement strategy and litigation management. These claims arise in various jurisdictions throughout the country and, as such, experience in multiple states is required. Responsibilities • Owns the development and performance of a reputed company Auto claims teams, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timely resolution of reputed company liability bodily injury claims of moderate to high complexity and/or severity. • Assigns new claims to team members based on complexity and reputed company set of staff. • Oversees the handling of reputed company aspects of the claims assigned to the team including reserving, communication, documentation, litigation management, evaluation, negotiation and settlement. • Ensures that reputed company customers receive quality service and advocates claims customer service excellence by building an understanding of the customer experience that meets and exceeds stakeholders’ expectations. • Completes regular manager reviews and quality audits of claims to ensure work meets or exceeds standards and that claims processing is consistent with applicable policies, procedures and department guidelines. • Regularly participate in claims roundtable discussions focusing on claims issues surrounding coverage, liability and assessment of damages. • Manages personnel administration including employee evaluations and performance. • Create an environment that ensures transparency, accountability, training, and development. • Prepares regular periodic reports and monitors system reports to ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory standards. • Reviews and analyzes processes, procedures and workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. • Other tasks as assigned by AVP/VP. Qualifications • Minimum of two (2) years of team leadership experience in liability insurance claims. • Minimum of five (5) years of bodily injury claims experience. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. • Valid claims adjuster’s license in appropriate jurisdictions or ability to obtain such. • Multi-jurisdictional expertise. • Thorough understanding of tort and contract laws, principles of coverage, and liability insurance in general. • Ability to manage a diverse group of claims professionals located in multiple offices. • Ability to mentor, train, and be a leader reputed company the organization. • Ability to plan, organize, delegate, and reputed company direct reports. • Ability to synthesize and draw conclusions from large amounts of data; translates the data into actions and results. • Demonstrates drive and ambition to reputed company goals and outstanding results. • Possesses emotional intelligence and self-awareness. • Embraces changes; invites feedback reputed company to performance and deals constructively with criticism. #LI-EF1 #LI-REMOTE #AmTrust reputed company Offer reputed company offers a competitive compensation package and excellent career advancement opportunities.
