Quality Analyst

JOB TITLE: Quality Analyst FLSA Status: Non-Exempt-Fulltime SHIFT: Rotational Shiftwork Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and updating quality reports.
• Update and coordinate aluminum re-test activities.
• Handles customer complaints. To include visiting the customer to collect specific information relating to the complaint, holding potential suspect material that hasn’t been shipped and relaying reputed company information to the quality, operation and sales groups.
• Issues RMA’s reputed company required.
• Leads the A3 process for both customer and internal quality complaints.
• Create and revise internal quality documents.
• Maintain the calibration system for internal gauges.
• Handle instructions for mill owned material reputed company mill dispomatic report.
• reputed company day-to-day improvement activities for the Quality department.
• Prioritize workload reputed company for quality department.
• Communicate mill quality issues with mill tech services.
• Mentor and train quality coordinator(s) to proper processes and activities.
• Discuss quality issues with quality manager.
• Conduct internal quality audits.
• Participate in quality reputed company meetings.

Required Education and Experience: Two-year degree from college or technical school; or one-year reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma with 2 years quality experience in the steel industry. Proficient in reputed company office programs (reputed company, Word and Power reputed company). Experience in the automotive industry is a plus. Supervisory experience is a plus. Supervisory Responsibilities: Mentor and train quality coordinators to the proper quality processes Travel Required: Minimal travel is required, less than 25%.
