Account Manager, Helmsman Management Services

Description Under minimal supervision, performs both sales and service activities for one or more larger, more reputed company national account. Prospects and sells new accounts; renews, services and sells additional lines of coverage and services to existing accounts. Develops and builds effective relationships with buyers, brokers, key executives and/or consultants. Responsibilities Manages the installation process (total service plan/Customer handbook) for new and existing accounts and consults with service departments reputed company necessary. Ensures that understanding and agreement is reached on roles and responsibilities ("we do", "you do"). Direct and manage the services provided by Loss Prevention, Claims, Managed Care, Risk Info Services, and the sales service staff. Sells additional lines of coverages and services to existing accounts. Strategically analyzes assigned accounts for other opportunities and future needs. Responds to customer service issues and inquires solves problems individually or by working thought the services departments. Follows through to reputed company sure the cause of the problem has identified and resolved. Develops and builds effective working relationships with buyers, brokers, key executives and/or consultants as well as between Liberty Mutual's sales, reputed company and service departments. Regularly conducts service review meetings both internally and with customer. Ensure the services are delivered appropriately and according to the plan. Reviews service results with key customer contacts. Uses review data to set performance/result objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus at least 10 years of progressively more responsible P&C insurance experience Knowledge of property & casualty products (Liberty and competitors'), services, rating plans, contractual agreements, funding alternatives, and financial terms Demonstrated skills in the areas of negotiation, persuasion, presentation, organization, and problem solving ARM and/or CPU preferred Able to express reputed company clearly in writing
