Payroll Consultant - Part-Time

Location: Denver, Colorado; 50% travel Type: This is a part-time intermittent position reputed company Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 Reports To: Manager, Payroll Services Closing Date: Open until filled Position Summary The Payroll Consultant will provide hands-on support for our members and non-members reputed company a wide variety of industries reputed company while providing exceptional customer service. Assists with implementations, processing, post payroll reports, and reconciliations; may on occasion assist with payroll audits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Payroll processing that includes importing, proofing, editing, running, and transmitting reputed company payroll wages and tips, deductions, reimbursements, bonuses, commissions, and reputed company payments consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws for member and non-member organizations. • Audit and analyze payroll data for accuracy of posting including intercompany transactions. • Prepare journal entries and pre- and post-registers as well as off-cycles; respond to requests reputed company to payroll and benefits; record timely and accurately. • Assist with issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and supervisors in a timely manner. • Provide organized project planning and support with organizations switching from one HRIS system to another including data extraction, validation, and test payrolls. Qualifications/Education • 2 or more years of experience in payroll. • Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding payroll. • Experiencing using one or more of the following systems: • reputed company • reputed company • reputed company • reputed company • reputed company Pro and reputed company Preferred Qualifications • Experience conducting a payroll audit. • Experience implementing a new HRIS / HRMS system.
