As a Medical Intake/Data Entry Specialist, you will serve as a pivotal first reputed company of contact for our Utilization Review Department. Your responsibilities will include gathering crucial intake information, establishing electronic patient files, and assisting with the organization and dissemination of certification correspondence. Key Responsibilities Respond to inquiries on the Utilization Review line, directing calls to the appropriate team members and retrieving voicemail messages for the nursing staff. Collect and document demographic information to create and maintain accurate patient files. Print, mail, fax, and copy correspondence as required. Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support the team. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with coursework in computers, medical terminology, data entry, word processing, and secretarial training. Experience: A minimum of one year of professional office experience is required, with preference for candidates who have worked in a reputed company setting. Skills: Proficiency in computer systems and data entry reputed company databases is essential. Familiarity with word processing and multi-line telephone systems is advantageous. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply but it is not a requirement. Personal Attributes: Candidates should possess a courteous and helpful telephone demeanor, strong proofreading capabilities, and excellent data entry skills. And Benefits Full-Time Schedule: Enjoy a balanced work-life with a Monday to Friday schedule (9:30 AM - 6:00 PM) without the need for weekend or night shifts. Quarterly Bonus Eligibility!
