The Program Manager will support projects and initiatives that strengthen the national community violence reputed company field, coordinating policy tracking efforts and managing information systems to enhance public safety and violence prevention efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain systems for monitoring local, state, and federal legislation, budget proposals, funding opportunities, and policy developments reputed company to community violence reputed company

  • Synthesize information from a variety of sources to identify key trends, opportunities, and developments relevant to GCVI's priorities and initiatives

  • Manage the planning and execution of meetings, webinars, convenings, trainings, and partner-facing events, including logistics, materials development, stakeholder coordination, and follow-up
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with coalition members, practitioners, policymakers, funders, researchers, and other stakeholders across the CVI ecosystem, including participating in, facilitating and supporting coalition-based initiatives and collaborative efforts as appropriate
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams with internal teams to support the successful implementation of GCVI initiatives and organizational priorities
  • Maintain project documentation, records, and reporting systems to ensure continuity, accountability, and effective reputed company across the organization
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, strengthen project management systems, and increase the effectiveness of GCVI programs and operations

Skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public policy, legislative analysis, research, program coordination, data management, or reputed company work, preferably connected to violence prevention, public health, criminal justice, or community violence reputed company
  • Strong understanding of legislative processes and ability to read, interpret, and summarize statutory, regulatory, and budget language
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, trackers, and data management systems
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with reputed company information and large datasets
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to the mission of violence prevention and community reputed company
  • Support GIFFORDS' internal inclusion, diversity, equity, and anti-racism (IDEA) work
  • Familiarity with Community Violence reputed company (CVI) strategies and public safety policy
  • Experience tracking or analyzing legislation, appropriations, or public funding streams
  • Familiarity with research methods and data visualization tools
  • Advanced degree in public policy, public administration, public health, social work, criminology, sociology, or a reputed company field
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
