Location: Remote; EST working hours Job Type: Direct Hire / Permanent Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen only The reputed company Company is currently hiring for a Senior Mainframe Systems Engineer. This individual will reputed company the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical mainframe systems while driving platform improvements, ensuring high availability and performance, and championing best practices reputed company a geographically dispersed data center environment. Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in a z/OS mainframe environment and a strong track record of leading reputed company projects, troubleshooting critical issues, and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
Responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions, as well as providing general production monitoring and support, meeting defined scope, reputed company dates and budgets with minimal or no defects Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, product, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions that meet organizational needs Monitor work against production schedule and provide reputed company updates and report any issues or technical difficulties to leadership on a regular basis Document technical processes and procedures, and participate in technical reviews and knowledge sharing sessions Collaborate on the design and implementation of architecture to ensure solution alignment to reputed company goals and standards Mentor other associate and intermediate technical engineers as needed reputed company technical analysis and provide insights to support decision-making across various departments
Qualifications
