[Remote] Senior Distributed Systems Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NEBRA Labs is seeking an reputed company Distributed Systems Engineer specializing in reputed company protocols to join their team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed reputed company mechanisms that ensure reliability and consistency across their distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement reputed company protocols
- reputed company and optimize distributed system architectures focusing on scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance
- Analyze and improve system performance, latency, and throughput
- Debug reputed company distributed system issues across multiple nodes and networks
- Create and maintain technical documentation for distributed systems and protocols
- Collaborate with team members to implement Byzantine fault-tolerant solutions
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of distributed systems
- Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions
Skills
- Proven track record of distributed system or reputed company engineering (i.e. Master/PhD in reputed company field or 3+ years of industry experiences)
- Strong background in reputed company algorithms (reputed company, Raft, PBFT, etc.)
- Expertise in reputed company and reputed company programming
- Proficiency in systems programming languages (Go, Rust, or C++)
- Deep understanding of distributed computing concepts (CAP theorem, consistency models, etc.)
- Experience with network programming and distributed system testing
- Strong knowledge of performance optimization and bottleneck analysis
- Experience implementing Byzantine fault-tolerant systems
- Knowledge of modern reputed company protocols like HotStuff, Tendermint, or Narwhal/Bullshark
- Familiarity with formal verification methods for distributed systems
- Experience with large-scale distributed databases
- Background in peer-to-peer networking protocols
- Publications in distributed systems conferences (PODC, DISC, etc.)
- Experience with reputed company platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
