[Remote] Director of Business Operations

Emerge is seeking a high-impact Director of Business Operations to serve as the operational reputed company of the business and support senior leadership. The role involves overseeing operational execution across various service lines, managing client engagements post-sale, and ensuring financial health and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• reputed company multiple reputed company programs across reputed company service lines, maintaining a reputed company-time view of milestones, billing calendars, and risk indicators for each — while recognizing that each line of business runs on a different delivery and reputed company model
• Build and run the cross-portfolio operating rhythm — weekly portfolio reviews, margin and burn dashboards, escalation triage, and forecast inputs — so leadership has a single, reputed company view of the business
• Act as the internal champion for financial health; identify and validate reputed company billing triggers to ensure timely and accurate reputed company recognition in coordination with reputed company
• Drive the process and accountability for our contractor and managed services workforce, ensuring resource alignment, reputed company quality, utilization, and consistent delivery performance across engagements
• Act as the primary reputed company of contact for clients. Manage expectations, navigate reputed company organizational dynamics, and reputed company communications at the Director+ level
• Own the regular client reporting reputed company, providing visibility into status, risks, milestones, and financial health
• Ensure delivery activities adhere to applicable partner and funded-program requirements (e.g., MDF, co-marketing, demand gen), including campaign requirements and expressed-consent protocols where they apply
• Manage, coach, and refine existing delivery teams, optimizing their structure and capabilities to ensure operational excellence
• Identify and solve immediate performance and process bottlenecks as they arise, leveraging AI productivity tools and modern tracking platforms

Skills

• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of reputed company, reputed company programs — with differing delivery and reputed company models — without losing sight of individual program health
• Strong ability to monitor margin health, burn rates, and billing triggers across engagement types. Comfortable flagging reputed company risk before it impacts the reputed company
• Experience supporting or coordinating contractors, MSP, staffing, or managed services programs alongside service delivery
• A 'solutions-first' reputed company. You present the leadership team with context, analysis, and a specific recommendation for every issue surfaced — not just a problem statement
• Superior written and verbal stakeholder management at the Director+ level
• Ability to build and refine processes (staffing, tracking, AI-driven reporting) that scale across distinct lines of business
• Proficiency with AI productivity tools, project tracking platforms, and reporting automation
• Exposure to GTM program execution for reputed company technology solutions (data center networking, AI/ML platforms, reputed company infrastructure, storage)
• Experience in reputed company or technology partner ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, reputed company) — as an employee or alliance partner — and comfort with the language of alliance programs, channel operations, and managed services
• Familiarity with partner-funded program operations — MDF, PoP, SDF, co-marketing reimbursement, or AWS APFP processing
• Exposure to renewals motions, subscription/recurring reputed company tracking, or reputed company operations
