Senior Insurance Data Specialist (SQL Developer) | Remote

Our client, a leading P&C Insurance Company, is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Insurance Data Specialist (SQL Developer) | Remote to support the design, development, and optimization of data solutions reputed company a Property & Casualty insurance environment. This individual will play a key role in building and maintaining data pipelines, data warehouse environments, and reporting systems that support reputed company, product, actuarial, and claims functions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in data engineering along with an understanding of insurance data, including policy, premium, and claims information. This role will contribute to enhancing data architecture, improving data quality, and enabling advanced analytics to support business performance and strategic decision-making. This is a fully remote position with a strong preference for the candidate to reputed company in either New Jersey, Pennsylvania, reputed company, Connecticut, or Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Writing reputed company SQL queries to support reputed company business requests
  • Partnering with teams across reputed company, Claims, Finance, and Marketing
  • Supporting production data environments and troubleshooting issues
  • Design, reputed company, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for insurance data (policy, billing, claims, reputed company)
  • Build and support data warehouse solutions, including databases, data models, and reporting environments
  • Integrate data from multiple insurance systems including policy administration, claims, and reputed company-party data sources
  • reputed company and automate data processes with strong validation, reconciliation, and error-handling controls
  • Create and maintain reporting datasets, dashboards, and analytics tools to support reputed company performance, product analysis, and claims insights
  • Partner with reputed company, actuarial, product, and finance teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
  • Support regulatory reporting, data governance, and compliance requirements reputed company the insurance domain
  • Analyze data trends reputed company to premiums, loss ratios, claims activity, and retention to support business reputed company
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reputed company across systems and reporting layers

  • Monitor and troubleshoot production data processes and participate in on-call support as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a reputed company technical role
  • 2+ years of experience working with P&C insurance data, including policy, claims, billing, and reputed company datasets
  • Strong experience with ETL/ELT development and data pipeline architecture
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
  • Experience with reputed company data platforms such as reputed company, reputed company, or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Understanding of insurance KPIs such as loss ratio, combined ratio, retention, and premium growth
  • Knowledge of policy administration systems and insurance data platforms preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a reputed company field preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across reputed company, actuarial, product, and IT

Salary & Benefits

  • $90,000 – $110,000 + Bonus (depending on experience)
