Position Overview

arenaflex is hiring multiple full-time Customer Service Representatives to join our award-winning support organization. This is a 100% remote role, but candidates must reside in the state of Florida to be considered. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with regular opportunities to develop new skills, advance your career, and grow within a thriving organization that genuinely values its people.

This is not your average customer service job. You'll be engaging directly with customers who reach out for a variety of reasons — from helping them select the perfect product for a new puppy, to troubleshooting a delivery issue, to walking them through account questions with patience and care. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Speak with customers over the phone, chat, and email, guiding them through their needs with confidence, warmth, and professionalism. You'll help shoppers find the right products for their pets, assist with order inquiries, and resolve concerns with empathy.
  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Research, troubleshoot, and proactively identify the best solutions for each unique situation. You'll set appropriate follow-ups to ensure every customer issue is fully resolved.
  • Active Listening & Empathy: Apply patience, kindness, and genuine understanding in every interaction — with customers and teammates alike. You'll use active listening to uncover the real issue behind the question.
  • Continuous Learning: Embrace a growth mindset. You'll receive and provide feedback, stay open to coaching, and continuously work to improve your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with peers, managers, and cross-functional partners using digital collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams. You'll contribute to a customer-centric, supportive, and energetic team culture.
  • Multi-Tasking in a Fast-Paced Environment: Manage multiple priorities simultaneously — such as maintaining a phone conversation while navigating systems, taking notes, and resolving issues — all while keeping the customer experience front and center.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and ready to shift schedules, including occasional overtime, as business needs evolve.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive customer information with the utmost discretion and follow all data security protocols.

What You'll Bring to arenaflex

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience (retail, call center, hospitality, or related field).
  • Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and listening — demonstrated through a written assessment during the hiring process.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including data entry and rapid navigation across systems, browsers, and the internet.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Reside within the state of Florida and have a quiet, professional home workspace.

Preferred Attributes

  • A genuine love for pets and an understanding of pet parent needs.
  • Prior experience in remote or work-from-home roles.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, or e-commerce tools.
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills (a strong plus).
  • Experience handling escalated customer concerns with grace and professionalism.

Technical & Home Office Requirements

To succeed in this remote role, your home setup must meet the following criteria:

  • Workspace: A dedicated, distraction-free area large enough to accommodate dual computer monitors. The space should be quiet, free from background noise, and professional in appearance for webcam use.
  • Internet Connection: A reliable wired, high-speed broadband connection with a minimum of 30 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed. (You can verify your speed at speedtest.net or by contacting your service provider.)
  • Equipment Provided by arenaflex: Computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam.
  • Personal Equipment Required: A cell phone or tablet capable of supporting two-factor authentication through Okta Verify — either via the Okta mobile app or via SMS/calls.
  • Phone Line: A traditional landline is not required.
