[Remote] Education Research, Financial Aid Optimization Analyst

The Financial Aid Optimization Analyst will support project work streams by utilizing analytic tools and methodologies to implement data-driven financial aid strategies, collaborating closely with client staff and senior engagement teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support project work streams utilizing analytic tools, established methodologies, and innovative modeling techniques to implement comprehensive, data driven financial aid strategies
  • Collaborate with client staff and senior engagement teams while contributing meaningful analysis that informs institutional decision making

Skills

  • Current U.S. work authorization required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in consulting, Higher Education, or relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical reasoning skills, including proficiency in Excel or other analytic tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and visual
  • Experience in financial aid, admissions, enrollment management, or institutional research, leveraging data to inform decision-making and optimize performance
  • Familiarity with statistical tools or programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL
  • Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Comfortable using emerging AI tools to improve efficiency, strengthen analysis, support research, and enhance communication, while applying sound judgment, data stewardship, and appropriate human review
