Job Title: Remote Social Media Content Specialist Job Type: Independent Contractor | Full-Time or Part-Time About the Role: A creative and digitally savvy Social Media Content Specialist is needed to support a Japanese skincare and wellness brand focused on clean, natural ingredients and modern Japanese rituals. This role focuses on content creation, social media support, and visual storytelling across platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. The ideal candidate is highly creative, understands current social media culture, and has a strong appreciation for skincare, wellness, and authentic branding. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable using AI tools to support content creation, brainstorming, editing, and workflow efficiency. However, the brand strongly values authenticity and human-centered content, so overly AI-generated or artificial-looking content should be avoided. The company is looking for someone who can create engaging, human-centered content that aligns with the brand’s balanced and natural philosophy while helping maintain a strong online presence. Key Responsibilities: Social Media & Content Creation Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms Produce UGC-style content using an iPhone or similar mobile device Assist with graphic design and visual content aligned with the brand aesthetic Support short-form video creation, reels, and social media storytelling Stay updated on social media trends, viral formats, and platform updates Use AI tools to support content ideation, editing, captions, and creative workflows while maintaining authentic and natural-looking content Contribute creative ideas and execute content quickly in a fast-paced environment Email & Marketing Content Support Create and support email campaigns using existing templates Keep content visually engaging while maintaining brand consistency Assist with promotional content and product-related campaigns Brand Support Help maintain a clean, balanced, and authentic brand presence Support content updates and creative coordination with the global marketing team Collaborate with designers and marketing members across multiple countries Qualifications & Ideal Traits: Must-Have Strong interest in skincare, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle content Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends Comfortable using AI tools to enhance content creation and productivity while maintaining an authentic brand voice and aesthetic Strong eye for visual aesthetics and branding Comfortable creating content independently Excellent English communication skills Creative, adaptable, and proactive mindset Preferred Understanding of how to balance AI-assisted workflows with organic, human-centered social media content Experience in social media management or content creation Background in skincare, beauty, or wellness brands Experience with graphic design or content editing tools Comfortable creating voiceovers or appearing in video content Familiarity with UGC-style marketing content Working Environment: Fully remote role Collaborative international team environment Fast-paced and creative work setting Opportunity to contribute ideas and grow within the brand Products may be provided for content creation and testing Apply To This Job
