Position Overview

The Information Analytics team within arenaflex's Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Specialist to join our Product Testing and Analytics division. This critical role plays an essential part in supporting the arenaflex ecosystem, encompassing our premium streaming platforms, in driving the expansion of our DTC streaming services across the United States.

In this advanced remote position, you'll be working at the intersection of data science, business strategy, and product development. Our team leverages data, statistical modeling/experimental frameworks, and various analytical tools to help our business clients make informed, data-driven decisions. We strive to better understand bundle trends, subscriber behavior, and customer engagement through our support across experimentation, analysis, and comprehensive reporting. As a Senior Data Analytics Specialist at arenaflex, you'll collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Data Science, Data Solutions, and other teams to not only provide high-visibility insights on bundle growth but become a true thought partner to our colleagues, helping to shape strategy and drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner intimately with business leaders to define the most pressing business challenges related to bundle trends and growth drivers, developing analytical frameworks to address these critical questions
• Design and implement a continuous insights pipeline, ensuring all stakeholders have a steady stream of bundle intelligence to inform decision-making
• Conduct comprehensive pattern analyses, evaluating the contributions of various drivers from multiple angles to understand bundle performance
• Define and analyze customer segments to identify opportunities for bundle growth and retention
• Collaborate with other Analytics teams to understand and leverage all relevant bundle data from various sources, synthesizing insights into a coherent, meaningful narrative
• Develop advanced statistical models to predict bundle performance and subscriber behavior
• Create compelling visualizations and presentations that translate complex data into actionable business insights
• Design, implement, and analyze sophisticated A/B/MVT test frameworks to optimize bundle offerings
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging analytical techniques that could benefit our bundle strategy
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of best practices within the analytics team

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on analytical work experience with R/Python/SAS (or another statistical analysis tool) and SQL
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and other quantitative methodologies, including but not limited to linear and logistic regression, significance testing, data preparation for modeling, and segmentation techniques
• Expertise in manipulating large datasets, interpreting data patterns, and leveraging diverse data sources and tools
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations
• Exceptional presentation skills, including the ability to tell a story with data and synthesize findings into meaningful recommendations
• Capacity to think conceptually, analyze and interpret market and customer information
• Knowledge of creating, implementing, and analyzing sophisticated A/B/MVT test frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the streaming media industry or other subscription-based services
• Experience working with Marketing teams or in the Marketing landscape
• Master's degree in a quantitative field or MBA with analytical focus
• Familiarity with subscription economics and churn analysis
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of product analytics frameworks and methodologies
• Experience with dashboard development and automated reporting
