Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Maintenance: Accurately input member information, claims data, provider details, and other critical records into arenaflex’s secure databases.
  • Quality Control & Validation: Perform routine checks, cross‑reference sources, and resolve discrepancies to maintain the highest level of data integrity.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including claims processing, member services, and IT—to ensure data flows smoothly across departments.
  • Timely Delivery: Meet daily, weekly, and monthly data entry targets while adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows, suggest enhancements, and participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Generate basic reports on data entry metrics, document procedural changes, and assist in audit preparation when required.
  • Compliance & Security: Follow arenaflex’s data privacy policies, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). A post‑secondary degree in Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to type accurately at a minimum of 55 words per minute with a high level of precision.
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and experience using web‑based data entry platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interaction with teammates and supervisors.
  • Proven reliability and a strong work ethic, reflected in consistent attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Experience

  • Prior experience in a data entry, administrative, or clerical role, especially within a healthcare or insurance setting.
  • Exposure to electronic health record (EHR) systems, claims processing software, or customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Certification such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Health Information Technician (CHIT).
