Onboarding Coordinator
Schneider Electric is a global company focused on sustainability and innovation. They are seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new employees through both in-person and virtual opportunities, while collaborating with HR and department heads to enhance onboarding practices.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including scheduling orientation sessions, preparing onboarding materials, and organizing relevant training sessions, with a focus on delivering a seamless hybrid (in-person and virtual) experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, providing them with guidance and support throughout their year one onboarding experience, ensuring consistency and connection across both onsite and remote environments
- Collaborate with HR, hiring managers, and various department heads to ensure a smooth transition for new employees, while contributing to the ongoing transformation of onboarding practices and programs
- Maintain onboarding documentation and records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and supporting the evolution of digital and hybrid onboarding tools and processes
- Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve and transform the onboarding process and overall experience, with an emphasis on innovation and scalability
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends related to onboarding, employee integration, and hybrid experience design, applying insights to enhance programs and drive continuous improvement
Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proven experience in HR, onboarding, or related fields, with an interest in process transformation and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively in both in-person and virtual settings
- Empathy and the ability to provide a caring and supportive environment for employees across diverse work environments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support evolving onboarding strategies in a transforming, hybrid workplace
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in employee support, engagement, and hybrid collaboration
- Bachelor's degree
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, ongoing basis
- Familiarity with event planning and/or Human Resource experience is a plus
