Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist & Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This is a full-time, remote position offering the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home while contributing to our e-commerce success.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and strong communication abilities. You will be responsible for managing product data, creating and updating product listings, conducting research to ensure accuracy, and providing outstanding customer support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Data Management: Input, extract, and manage data from various Excel spreadsheets and databases accurately and efficiently. Maintain data integrity and organization across multiple product catalogs.
  • Product Creation & Updates: Create new products for our e-commerce websites, ensuring all product information is complete, accurate, and formatted according to brand guidelines.
  • Product Research & Compliance: Conduct thorough research on product details, specifications, and brand requirements to ensure all products displayed on our website are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with manufacturer guidelines and brand standards.
  • Content Writing & SEO: Write compelling and SEO-optimized product descriptions that drive organic traffic and conversion. Utilize keyword research best practices to enhance product visibility.
  • Image Management: Review, organize, and select high-quality images for new products. Ensure all visual content meets brand standards and displays correctly on our platforms.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Handle customer inquiries professionally via email and phone, providing prompt and accurate responses. Resolve issues efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Marketplace Error Resolution: Identify and resolve errors on digital marketplaces, including listing discrepancies, pricing issues, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct ongoing keyword research to identify search trends and optimize product listings for improved search engine rankings.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze product data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements, quality assurance, and customer experience enhancement.

Essential Qualifications

  • Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, data manipulation, and analysis. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and general PC skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Work Environment: Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace equipped with a desktop computer and dual monitors (2 screens) for efficient multitasking.
  • Multitasking Ability: Comfortable using multiple web-based programs and applications simultaneously. Strong ability to switch between tasks seamlessly.
  • Comfort with Repetitive Tasks: Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks with patience and precision while maintaining focus and accuracy.
  • Independent Judgment: Capability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills to resolve issues and make informed decisions.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Strong customer service skills with a dedication to delivering exceptional experiences to clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Flexible and team-oriented approach with a focus on achieving collective goals and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data entry, accounting, or administrative roles.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and marketplaces.
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices and keyword research.
  • Experience with product data management systems.
  • Knowledge of image editing software (basic proficiency).
  • Experience in customer service roles, preferably in an online or retail environment.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Schedule: Full-time position with standard hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Some flexibility is available to accommodate personal needs.
  • Work Location: Remote – work from the comfort of your home office.
  • Equipment: Must provide own quiet workspace with reliable desktop computer and dual monitors.
  • Internet Connection: Reliable high-speed internet connection is required.
  • Availability: Must be available during core business hours and respond to communications promptly.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate of $13.00 to $14.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Employment Type: Full-time 1099 Contract Labor position.
  • Expected Hours: 40 hours per week.
