Position Overview – Customer Service Representative (CMN)

As a member of the CMN (Claims Management Network) team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that reimbursement information is accurate, timely, and compliant with industry standards. Reporting directly to the Director of Revenue Qualifications, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to review prescriptions, manage renewal processes, and resolve revenue‑related issues for our branches. This full‑time, benefits‑eligible position offers a competitive starting wage of $16.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial security, and work‑life balance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review initial prescriptions for qualifying elements to ensure prompt release of claims.
  • Execute daily follow‑up processes on all CMNs assigned within the Work‑In‑Progress (WIP) states and RC worklist.
  • Assess renewal CMNs within the CMN review worklist, verifying completeness and compliance.
  • Manage the CMN renewal workflow, obtaining all necessary documentation from providers, patients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee outstanding held revenue related to CMNs for assigned branches, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Handle inbound and outbound phone communications related to CMNs, delivering clear, courteous, and solution‑focused support.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Qualifications team to refine processes, improve turnaround times, and enhance overall claim accuracy.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting system enhancements and best‑practice adaptations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the broader goals of the Revenue Operations department.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency with multiple computer applications simultaneously; comfortable navigating electronic health record (EHR) systems, claim management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of the DME/HME industry is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Previous experience in medical billing, claims processing, or a related healthcare support role.
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursement guidelines.
