[Remote] Natural Resource Conservation Scientist

Note The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alignerr is seeking experienced natural resource and environmental scientists to contribute to AI research in conservation science. The role involves reviewing and evaluating AI-generated content for scientific accuracy and providing expert feedback to enhance AI reasoning and quality. This position offers flexible, fully remote work with a commitment of 10–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Review conservation science questions, scenarios, and AI-generated content for scientific accuracy
• Evaluate whether AI outputs reflect sound, real-world land management and conservation practices
• Assess content covering ecosystems, soil health, water systems, biodiversity, and land use
• Provide structured, expert feedback to improve AI reasoning and scientific quality
• Work independently and asynchronously — on your schedule, at your pace Skills
• 3+ years of professional experience in natural resource conservation or environmental science
• Strong working knowledge of ecosystems, land management principles, and conservation decision-making
• Able to critically evaluate scientific reasoning and applied recommendations in written form
• Clear communicator who can provide detailed, well-organized feedback
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• Master's degree or PhD in Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Hands-on fieldwork or applied conservation experience
