Position Summary

As a Remote Airbnb Customer Experience Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers reaching out through inbound calls. You will use your expertise, empathy, and problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional service and tailored solutions in a high-energy, metrics-driven environment. You will work with leading technologies, modern CRM platforms, and intuitive support systems, all while being supported by a dedicated team of leaders, mentors, and peers who care about your growth and success.

Whether you are helping a guest rebook a canceled stay, guiding a new host through their first listing, or assisting a subscriber with account decisions, every call is an opportunity to make a real impact. Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the arenaflex customer experience team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Handling a high volume of inbound customer inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and warmth across multiple interaction channels, with a primary focus on phone support.
  • Actively listening to customer needs, concerns, and goals, and using thoughtful, open-ended probing questions to uncover the root of each issue.
  • Delivering clear, concise, and confident solutions that resolve customer concerns on the first call whenever possible.
  • Identifying opportunities to recommend relevant products, services, or upgrades that genuinely add value to the customer experience, contributing to individual and team sales targets.
  • Managing and overcoming objections from subscribers and customers considering cancellation, suspension, or downgrade requests, with the goal of improving retention and reducing churn.
  • Accurately documenting every customer interaction in our systems, ensuring data integrity, detailed notes, and proper follow-up actions.
  • Collaborating with team leads, peer support groups, and cross-functional partners to resolve complex issues that require deeper investigation.
  • Staying current on product updates, policy changes, platform enhancements, and procedural revisions to maintain expert-level knowledge.
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding performance metrics related to quality, customer satisfaction (CSAT), average handle time, first call resolution, and sales conversions.

Essential Qualifications

Qualified applicants will possess the following:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone, pace, and vocabulary to suit each customer.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, including the capacity to listen actively while navigating multiple systems and applications simultaneously.
  • A results-driven mindset, motivated by solving complex problems and consistently meeting or exceeding individual and team goals.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and a willingness to learn new proprietary platforms.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, retention, hospitality, or a related customer-facing field.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification. Additional education in communications, business, hospitality, or related fields is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, candidates with the following will stand out:

  • Prior experience supporting Airbnb, vacation rental, travel, e-commerce, or subscription-based products.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar tools.
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Mandarin, given the global nature of our customer base.
  • Previous remote work experience, demonstrating self-management and home office discipline.
  • Experience with retention, save desks, or win-back campaigns in a B2C environment.

Work-From-Home Requirements

To be successful in this remote role at arenaflex, you will need:

  • A quiet, distraction-free, and secure place to work where you can focus without interruption during scheduled shifts.
  • Excellent internet connectivity, with minimum speeds of 2 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download. Faster speeds are strongly preferred to support outstanding call quality.
  • An in-house wired network and a hard-wired internet connection capable of continuously supporting high-quality voice calls and fast response rates. Wireless and satellite internet service providers are not compatible with our systems.
  • A smartphone (iOS or Android), 4 years old or newer, on which you are willing to download our company app for internal communications, scheduling, and engagement.
  • A professional, ergonomic workspace that supports long hours of computer and phone-based work.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
