This role leads both Product Management and R&D (Engineering/Development) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative, and commercially successful solutions. You will operate at the intersection of customer need, commercial opportunity, and technical execution, driving MACH’s product and innovation agenda. A Day in the Life of Head of Product: Define and drive product and technology strategy across the portfolio Lead global Product and R&D teams to deliver against roadmap commitments Balance innovation with delivery excellence and platform scalability Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to shape solutions Align engineering execution with commercial priorities Champion AI, automation, and next-gen platform evolution Roles & Responsibilities Own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and execution across MACH portfolio Lead and integrate Product Management and R&D/Engineering teams globally Drive product P&L performance, including pricing, margin, and investment decisions Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of product releases aligned to roadmap Define and implement engineering strategy, architecture direction, and development standards Translate market trends (AI, automation, roaming evolution) into scalable product innovation Work closely with Sales & Marketing to deliver clear value propositions and successful GTM execution Engage key customers to ensure solutions address real operational and commercial pain points Establish strong product governance, prioritisation, and development lifecycle processes Optimise resource allocation across Product and R&D to maximise ROI and speed to market Key Success Measures Revenue growth and profitability of product portfolio Delivery predictability and quality (on-time, on-budget releases) Product adoption and customer satisfaction Engineering productivity and platform scalability Innovation velocity Experience & Background 5+ years in product and/or engineering leadership roles Proven experience leading both Product Management and R&D/Engineering teams Strong track record of owning product strategy and commercial outcomes (P&L) Experience delivering complex, platform-based or telecom solutions Demonstrated ability to scale teams and deliver globally distributed products Experience with Agile software development environment Multi-year experience in Roaming industry, including GSMA & TADIG / BCE knowledge Knowledge of Roaming wholesale workflow from CDR to settlement Skills & Capabilities Strong commercial mindset with ownership of revenue, margin, and investment trade-offs Ability to bridge business strategy and technical execution Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices Excellent leadership across multidisciplinary teams (Product, Engineering, GTM) Strong stakeholder management—from board to customer to engineering teams Data-driven decision-making and prioritisation discipline Experience with AI / automation-led product development (highly desirable) What Makes You a Great Fit You think like a GM—owning both what we build and how we build it You balance innovation, delivery discipline, and commercial performance You can simplify complex product and engineering landscapes You align teams around customer outcomes and measurable impact You bring clarity, pace, and accountability across Product and R&D Limitation and Disclaimer: The aforementioned job description is aimed to provide an overview of the overall type and level of work being performed for this role; it shouldn't be interpreted as a complete list of all obligations, responsibilities, and qualifications needed for the job.
