Our mission is to empower teams across the globe with reliable, timely, and secure information, enabling smarter decisions and driving measurable results. As we continue to grow, we are looking for meticulous, organized, and enthusiastic individuals to join our Brooklyn office and help us maintain the highest standards of data integrity.

Why This Role Matters

Data entry may sound straightforward, but at arenaflex it is a strategic function that directly influences the quality of insights delivered to our clients and internal stakeholders. As a Data Entry Operator, you will be the guardian of our data ecosystem, ensuring that every record, transaction, and report reflects precision and reliability. Your work will support multiple departments—including finance, operations, marketing, and product development—by providing clean, verified data that fuels analytics, compliance, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update large volumes of data into proprietary arenaflex systems, CRM platforms, and cloud‑based databases.
  • Conduct routine data quality audits, identify inconsistencies, and perform corrective actions to maintain a 99.9% accuracy rate.
  • Retrieve, compile, and organize information from diverse sources such as spreadsheets, scanned documents, email threads, and third‑party portals.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot data‑related issues, propose solutions, and implement process improvements.
  • Adhere strictly to data security policies, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Generate periodic reports, dashboards, and summary documents for management review, highlighting trends, anomalies, and performance metrics.
  • Assist with onboarding new data sources, mapping fields, and configuring import templates to streamline future data ingestion.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks, such as filing, document scanning, and supporting special projects as directed by supervisors.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in data entry, information management, or related fields is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a data entry or data‑processing role, preferably within a fast‑paced corporate environment.
  • Exceptional typing speed (70+ WPM) with a focus on accuracy and minimal error rates.
  • Proficiency with data entry software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and familiarity with cloud‑based platforms such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and proactively seek clarification when needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with teammates and stakeholders.
  • Experience handling confidential or proprietary data, with a clear understanding of data privacy best practices.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Assets

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Certification such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar credentials.
  • Familiarity with database management tools (e.g., SQL, Access) and basic query writing.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., macros, Zapier, Power Automate) to increase data entry efficiency.
  • Knowledge of industry‑specific terminology, especially in finance, healthcare, or logistics, which can accelerate onboarding.
  • Previous exposure to quality‑control frameworks such as Six Sigma or ISO 9001.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and anomalies in large data sets.
  • Analytical Thinking: Comfort interpreting data patterns and suggesting improvements.
  • Time Management: Efficiently juggle multiple data streams while meeting tight turnaround times.
  • Team Collaboration: Work constructively with colleagues across departments to resolve data challenges.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift rapidly.
