Position Overview – Remote IT Business Analyst (Data Entry & Infrastructure)

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote IT Business Analyst to join the arenaflex IT Offices Group. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that our data entry processes, server farm infrastructure, and remote communication rooms operate flawlessly. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects that keep our critical systems running 24/7, while also providing hands‑on support for day‑to‑day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the data entry workflows that support airport communication systems, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Administer and monitor all site implementations, inventory controls, and system configurations across server farms and remote communication rooms.
  • Provide proactive and reactive support for hardware, UPS power, HVAC, fire suppression, security, and cabling systems in both on‑site and remote environments.
  • Collaborate with software development and testing teams to provision workstations, equipment, and access for application testing labs.
  • Lead the planning and execution of capital improvement projects, including space optimization, power upgrades, cooling enhancements, and lifecycle replacement of critical infrastructure.
  • Develop and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and standards that align with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure vendors meet contractual obligations while delivering cost‑effective solutions.
  • Document all infrastructure changes, maintain accurate configuration records, and support change‑control processes to minimize service disruption.
  • Coordinate remote support activities, including ticket remediation, incident response, and escalation handling for server farms, labs, and communication rooms.
  • Provide detailed reporting on project status, budget utilization, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Mentor junior team members and share best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in a high‑availability data center or server farm environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing infrastructure projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, server hardware, UPS systems, HVAC, and fire safety protocols.
  • Proficiency with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and data entry platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration with distributed teams.
