[Remote] Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you will manage the full sales cycle, engaging with warm leads and driving new customer acquisitions while collaborating with the sales team to refine strategies and improve conversion rates.

Responsibilities

  • Work a daily queue of inbound and warm outbound leads from interested businesses
  • Rapidly qualify prospects to understand their digital footprint, lead flow, and growth objectives
  • Run strong discovery calls that uncover pain points around visibility, trust, and conversion
  • Deliver clear, outcome-driven demos that tie GatherUp’s capabilities to measurable business impact
  • Own deals end-to-end, from first call through close
  • Drive momentum through a fast, decisive sales process with clear next steps
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in CRM
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to improve deal quality and close rates
  • Stay fluent in how AI, reviews, and customer signals influence search visibility and lead generation

Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in high-volume, full-cycle B2B SaaS sales, preferably SMB or mid-market
  • Proven track record of closing new business and consistently hitting or exceeding quota
  • Ability to explain AI-powered or technical products in simple, business-focused terms
  • High-ownership mindset; you take responsibility for your pipeline, number, and outcomes
  • Comfort operating in a high-velocity environment with urgency and focus
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, coachable, and values shared success
  • Proficient in Salesforce, HubSpot, and other modern sales tools (e.g. Chilipiper, Fathom, etc.)
  • Experience selling marketing technology, reputation management, growth, or customer experience software is a plus
