Senior Business Development Representative
HelixIntel is looking for a Senior BDR to join our growing sales team and help us build and accelerate our insurance partner pipeline. This role involves executing outbound prospecting campaigns and building relationships with prospective customers to generate qualified meetings and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, and industry channels to generate qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities
- Research target accounts and key stakeholders to craft personalized outreach tied to business priorities, operational challenges, and market trends
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective customers through thoughtful, value-driven engagement
- Identify and engage decision-makers within carriers, mutuals, MGAs, pools, program administrators, and brokerages
- Partner closely with marketing to refine messaging, target accounts, and campaigns based on market feedback and engagement insights
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, account intelligence, and engagement tracking within Salesforce
- Represent HelixIntel at conferences, trade shows, and industry networking events
- Support account-based marketing and outbound strategies that drive long-term pipeline growth and future enterprise sales opportunities
Skills
- 6 to 12 months of BDR or SDR experience with a documented track record of hitting or exceeding quota
- Demonstrated success in cold calling, including comfort with high-volume phone outreach
- A people-first mindset: you genuinely enjoy meeting people, building relationships, and representing a brand in person
- Willingness and availability to travel for conferences and client meetings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and outreach platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or similar)
- A competitive, coachable attitude and a desire to grow quickly into a full closing role
- Interest in or exposure to insurance, insurtech, or B2B SaaS is a plus
