Business Management Tax Experienced Associate

The Business Management Tax Experienced Associate is responsible for performing basic and intermediate accounting functions related to business management and tax specifications, ensuring high-quality client service and collaboration with team members.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned tasks / jobs
- Learn the growth process (identify and communicate growth)
- Identify and help solve engagement (job) technical issues, anomalies, non-routine items
- Collaborate and communicate with client and team members in a professional manner
- Provides timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
- Ensures professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate
- Assist account managers in generating 1099's and W-2's for clients
- Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships
- Completes research and special projects as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or related field required
- 1 – 2 years of related experience in tax, accounting or bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger or financial reports
- Experience with tax research databases such as BNA and RIA
- Proficient in all tax compliance process software including Access, Prosystems and other tax related software
- Creative problem solving and research skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Prior HNW tax experience strongly preferred
