SCOPE The Manager of Maternal & Infant Health supports the implementation of March of Dimes’ mission strategy by managing programs, partnerships, and initiatives that improve maternal and infant health outcomes within an assigned geographic area or project portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Maternal & Infant Health, this role focuses on executing key initiatives, coordinating partnerships, and supporting community engagement efforts aligned with national and state priorities. The Manager works with community partners, volunteers, and internal teams to implement evidence-informed programs, support advocacy initiatives, and advance projects that address priority maternal and infant health needs. Through strong collaboration, program management, and data-informed decision-making, the Manager contributes to initiatives that reduce disparities and improve outcomes for moms and babies. RESPONSIBILITIES Program Implementation and Partnerships Support the implementation of maternal and infant health programs and initiatives within an assigned geographic area or project portfolio. Manage specific projects and initiatives aligned with March of Dimes mission priorities and the state strategy. Work with community partners and Director to support identification of priority populations and program opportunities. Coordinate with Director on program activities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation and measurable outcomes. Provide program updates, reports, and impact stories that highlight community outcomes and progress. Build and maintain relationships with community partners, maternal and child health organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. Support recruitment and engagement of volunteers and partners who advance maternal and infant health initiatives. Leadership and Accountability Embody and demonstrate organizational core values: Diversity, Integrity, Mission, Excellence, and Success (DIMES) in all professional interactions and responsibilities. Support implementation of initiatives that drive measurable improvements in maternal and infant health outcomes. Identify implementation challenges and escalate risks to Director while supporting the development of solutions to address barriers. Maintain accountability for project timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements. Represent March of Dimes at community meetings, conferences, and events as appropriate. Advocacy and Government Affairs Support state and local advocacy priorities where applicable by assisting with coalition engagement, advocacy events, and policy education efforts. Track policy and regulatory developments relevant to maternal and infant health initiatives when applicable. Donor and Revenue Development Assist in sharing mission impact with partners, supporters, and donors to highlight program outcomes. Support staff and volunteers in identifying opportunities to connect community initiatives with potential funding or partnership opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS: 2-4 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas: maternal/child health program planning and implementation; advocacy and government affairs; public health programming; working with disadvantaged populations; community development.
