Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Trueline's client, a growing boutique commercial real estate law firm, is seeking a Senior Real Estate Paralegal - Title Specialist to join their team in Southern California (Los Angeles or San Diego preferred). This is a high-impact role focused on title and survey review, supporting complex transactions in a collaborative, fully remote environment with strong team connectivity. What You'll Do as the Senior Real Estate Paralegal:
- Review and analyze title reports, commitments, and surveys for commercial real estate transactions
- Identify and resolve title issues, exceptions, and risks
- Support attorneys through due diligence, closing, and post-closing processes
- Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and opposing counsel
- Manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain organized transaction records and documentation
Must-Haves as the Senior Real Estate Paralegal:
- 7+ years of transactional real estate paralegal experience in California
- Deep expertise in title and survey review, including ALTA and CLTA endorsements
- Background with a well-regarded law firm or real estate practice
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and financing structures
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice-to-Haves as the Senior Real Estate Paralegal:
- Experience working on high-volume, complex commercial transactions
- Prior experience in a remote or distributed team environment
- Exposure to purchase, sale, and loan transactions across asset types
