  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems efficiently to access, analyze, and update patient information.
  • Identify discrepancies or errors in medical records and collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain detailed logs of review activities, findings, and corrective actions taken.
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring that all medical records meet privacy laws and institutional policies.
  • Assist in training staff on proper documentation practices and EHR system usage as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting with familiarity in handling medical records.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for data review and management.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical documentation.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to patient privacy and medical recordkeeping.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies or errors efficiently.
