About the Role

Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in the Houston areato hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) for the school year. This full-time, school-based role is a great opportunity for passionate SLPs who are committed to supporting the communication and language development needs of K12 students. The ideal candidate will be experienced in assessments, therapy services, and collaboration with teachers and families to help students succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language services to K12 students with diverse needs.
  • Conduct evaluations and develop clear, data-driven reports.
  • Create and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Active Texas SLP license through the State Board of Examiners.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
